RCS offers in most instances, complimentary light bulb service. This service is defined as: “Cleaners replacing burned out light bulbs from within an arms reach”. Occasionally, the cleaner will utilize a chair or stool to aid in the service. This service is based on inventory on hand. RCS does offer light bulb supplies service at a reasonable cost. Inventory is restocked once a month in most instances. Light bulbs which require a ladder will be serviced once a month during model inspections. For optimum service, the cleaner and/or sales agent(s) must communicate with RCS office if burned out bulbs are present and require a ladder to change. On occasion, RCS will contact the builder’s superintendent to render assistance with difficult to reach bulbs. Bulbs which the cleaner cannot reach that do require a ladder and need attention before the monthly inspection will be scheduled accordingly during the business week and will be addressed as a priority.
The builder (sales staff) should assist with the light bulb process. Due to the limited regularly scheduled cleaning hours RCS’s crews spend in the models, the builder must communicate through our office or through the cleaner to avoid any communication break downs. Our crews are trained to automatically view the models for any burned out light bulbs. However, there will be occasions where the cleaner either misses a bulb or bulbs burn out post-clean. The builder can also assist RCS in replacing bulbs as needed. Team effort is required for success.
Emergency replacement which is not part of the above definition will require a $45.00 service fee. This also applies to builders who supply their own inventory.
Light fixture cleaning is not part of a model clean. RCS will service light fixtures as needed during bulb replacement.
